Hugbook
Hug
I understand how you feel. I lost my grandmother 3 months ago & it's very, very difficult. Try to stay strong. I'm glad that you got the opportunity to get to know your granddad before he passed; that's a beautiful thing.
Hug
My thoughts and prayers are with you! Big hugs to help you through the day!

Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a RelativeIn November 2007 my Grandad passed away to lung cancer. I'd only just begun talking to him again after a family feud and I wish that I had more time with him as the cancer took him very quickly. I'm still struggling to cope with the fact that I'm never going to see him again and I've just been diagnosed with depression. I don't see a way forward anymore.
Treatments
- Crying Not Working
- Crying hasn't really helped with how I feel, they say it's good to cry but I'm still waiting to feel the benefits.
- Keeping Busy Somewhat Helpful
- Keeping busy is helping slightly but I just find that I get angry with things and loose concentration too quickly to get anything finished.
- Remembering Not Working
- It's too painful to remember at the moment
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- It's good to talk to friends and family but then I feel guilty because they all have their own problems and don't need mine on top of them.
