      I guess you could say I am an MS vetern. DX in 1988 and my recent MRI shows new lesions. I am still walking, talking and aunery as ever but that is what keeps me going. My bad days I keep to myself, just don't want to bother anyone. I have overdosed with my pet therapy with 3 BIG Dawgs, a snake, a bird, a rat and some fish. I don't have much of a support group cuz I hate to whine but I do need ya!!

    • Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
      Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

      My story is looooong, I was dx in 1988. Lots of experience with this Stupid Diesease. Hit me up!!

      Treatments

      Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
      When I have had the lovely chance to enjoy this I have felt good after
      Avonex Not Working
      I had SEVERE flu-like symptoms
      Baclofen Considering
      Betaseron Working / Worked
      I had flu-like symptoms
      Copaxone Working / Worked
      I am currently on it and I have no side effects accept for injection site reactions in which I am learning to minimize
      Neurontin Considering
      Prednisone Working / Worked
      This is excellant for exacerbations, however, don't like to be on it more than a dose pack and fortunatelly haven't had to be
      Swimming Considering
      Lyrica Not Working
      After years of having pain in the winter months I am desiring an opiate Vicadin Percocet Oxycodone etc I have given this a couple months and I still hurt
