My first entry to my journal. Diagnosed with hepc on the 23 rd Dec 2009.
Feeling pretty down, now awaiting on more test results.

Have recentley been diagnosed with hep c. Waiting on test results to come back to see what sort it is. Ever since I found out I have been coming onto this site and reading all posts. I have learnt so much and have decided to come and join you all. Thanks so much for all the great information, I'm not feeling alone now and as scared.
Close Heroin Addiction & Recovery
Hi I was a herion addict for approx 8yrs. Have been clean now for 16yrs.
Treatments
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Working / Worked
- Going to N/A didnt work for me.
- Residential Treatment Center Working / Worked
- It took alot of hard work to kick the big "H"s butt. Today I look back and thank my lucky stars that I survived it.
- Methadone Working / Worked
- This stuff helped me so much but I ended up putting myself on a time limit and eventually cutting myself down weekly until I aced that aswell.
