Diagnosed with Ra on 25th birthday!!! Family of 3, business owner. Thankful for everything, even for my RA even though that may sound weird!! I also have carpal tunnel in both hands, doc says i have oa in hands. (nodules) Can i really have oa and ra? I'm on lots of meds, seem to work some what compared to how i was feeling when this all started up. I would literally roll out of bed when i could! Now, im pretty much good, just dont have as much energy as i wish i did. But its all good!!

I’m With You
Erica it was great knowing that you feel better. I just started Enbrel today, but I still have to learn how to apply it myself. I also was diagnosed with RA when I turned 25, and I know how hard it is. I started with Remicade almost right away, but lateley my RA has been out of control. I'm with you and I hope that Enbrel works great for both of us! Yvette.

Treatments
- Celebrex Not Working
- Tried for 3 mthsn gave me headaches and vomit, very abd for health. Not perscribed by ra doctor just family doctor.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Taking 2x daily, no side effects,
- Hydroxychloroquine Somewhat Helpful
- I guess, not sure. No side effects
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- 6x once weekly.very helpfull, gives lots of gas next 24 hrs. No other side effects. Usually hurt day before next dose.
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Stop taking due to long term use. Did help with pain, bad for bones long term, made me gain weight fast. im a small person and gained lots of gut weight, not good at all.
