goodmorning to yall. thanks to all yall who commented on my last Journal. my mom is in the hospital getting the help she needs. their was plenty of physical evidence of the abuse and its sad to say but theirs also evidence of sexual abuse involved to. and the detectives brought him in for questioning and he admited to everything and the sad thing is he didnt even show no remorse or anything. I just wonder how she stayed married to this guy for so long if he was doing all this to her. I just dont understand. and I feel so confused. I dont know

I'm sorry to hear you and your mom are both going through this. I know this is rough stuff. But it is good that your mom is getting help and great that you are being there for her. That is really big of you =). Some people just don't feel they deserve any better than that. It's sad but I think that's what they thing anyways. I don't know. I'm just glad she's getting the help now. Hopefully he gets what he deserves. Best luck to ya girl. Take care of yourself

I just cant understand why people put up with all the abuse, your Mum I mean,she should have left him!!

Glad to hear you did the right thing in putting your mom in the hospital.Stay strong in the knowledge that your a wonderful caring daughter. Life is too short and much too hard at times to have to put up with this problem too. High five!! and many prays

you did a good thing hon...smile...now your mom will get the help and support she needs..and let the law deal with the spouse..sigh....it is hard to say why so many people stay with their abuser's...dependance being a huge reason hon....hopefully with the help of the dr's..and with you..she will heal and realize she does not have to live with someone like that..and that she does deserve better than that out of life...sigh

I am so glad she is in a safe place.That means that you can relax a little and hopefully get some much needed rest.And it means that you do not have to make the pertinent desicions about her care.I'm sure that she's in good hands and no doubt about it,is somewhere safe,where she can get the proper help.I know this was not easy for you,and I think your doing great.I am keeping you both in my prayers and thoughts.Love-Jen
