Just got caught up on this situation with Mom. It is not easy to stand up to family when they have mistreated you, it's like they have a magic key to unlock your resolve. I know, I have been there. I am only now finally learning to stand up for myself with family, after a lifetime of letting them push me around emotionally. It sure ain't easy.
