Close Migraine Headaches

Before topamax I had 15 to 20 headaches a month. I'm now down to 6 or 8. So I would say it has been very successful. But I have lost an enormous amount of hair! I'd like to look at alternatives.

Treatments

Axert Working / Worked

Axert works great if you take it early. It has no side effects for me at all except for about a half hour of drowsiness that does wear off. No nausea or anything.I do get rebound headaches with Axert sometimes.

Imitrex Working / Worked

I take the Sumatriptan which makes me feel gross for about an hour but then really wipes out the headache and is really good about preventing any rebounds.

Topamax Working / Worked

Has been very effective, though I have lost more than half my hair. i have (had) very thick hair, so this is very upsetting. Nobody warned me.
