      Hey Everyone. I've been using heroin off and on for years. I can't believe it's been that long. I have been able to get some clean time with the help of NA/AA. At one point I had almost two years clean. My life got pretty good put I made the decision to use. It got really bad (surprise, surprise). I've been clean for over three months now but it is difficult sometimes. I am actively involved with AA in my area. I'm joining this support group because I feel it can help me on my path. Peace!

      Treatments

      Naltrexone Not Working
      Revia worked for a bit but then I stopped taking the pills so that I can get high.
      Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Working / Worked
      Working a 12 step program of recovery is the only way that I have been able to live clean and still be happy without drugs.
      Suboxone Working / Worked
      I used suboxone to detox more than once. It worked like a charm.
