Hello, I'm a 44 yr old mother of 3. I have 2 son's at home, ages 4 & 6. And a grown/ married 23 yr old daughter. During my pregnancy almost 5 yrs ago I developed extensive clotting that started behind my knee and went up to the top of my thigh. I have Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and have had reclotting on coumadin. I just recently reclotted and started on Lovenox injections last week. I was a long time member of another DVT support group through MSN http://groups.msn.com/BloodClotSurvivorsDVTPE , but it is going to be closing in Feb. I'm hoping that some of the members will join Daily Strength with me. I've been watching this website and am thrilled at how active it is. I look forward to getting to know all of you! Hey Barb! How are you doing? Things are going well on my end. I'm continuing to experience INR levels within the range my doctor mandates. I'm back to my normal routine and will begin an exercise routine this week for weight loss and improved health. I'll definitely be keeping in touch. Type @ ya soon.

Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Treatments
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- Reclotted while therapeutic on coumadin in March of 2007 while on monthly INR checks. And reclotted while on coumadin while using a home INR monitor and therapeutic on coumdan.
- Lovenox Working / Worked
- Just started back up on Lovenox shots once a day after reclotting 2nd time on coumadin. Had spontaneous hematoma in armpit while on Lovenox 2 years ago. Hemo has me on a slightly lower dosage and will monitor level.
