Had surgery in Sept. for golf ball size tumor up just high enough to reconnect colon. In Dec. was in the hospital with a bowel obstruction. Was out for 1 day then back in with what they now think was a very bad case of the flu. Very dehydrated. Will now start radiation and 24 hr. a day chemo. Update... Changed Doctors and found out my flu was not the flu but my body rejecting the chemo. I have been taking chemo pills now while getting radiation. I will have 2 1/2 more weeks of ratiation and then more chemo.

Some days I just wanna quit the whole mess. I have been so sick for 4 months now, 3 more months to go. Just so sick and tired of being sick and tired. Yikes. But I gotta keep pushing forward, still praying for all of us.

Close Colon Cancer
Golf-ball size tumor was found Sept. 11th. Had surgery Sept.19th. Started chemo and ended up in the hospital in Dec with an obstruction and with what they thought was a bad case of the flu. I changed doctors and found out it was not the flu but my body rejecting the chemo. I am now on chemo pills and getting radiation treatments.
