I am married, work as a registered nurse.I have 2 wonderful kids, a boy and a girl, lots of pets. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in August 2008, after months of losing weight and feeling like crap. You would think being a nurse I would recognize the signs, but I contributed most of it to working graveyard shifts, and working too much.Ive never been sick really, but have been under great amounts of stress for most of my life. Now for some reason my pancreas just decided to quit working.

Close Diabetes Type 1
I was recently diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 32.my pancreas doesnt make any insulin. I was never sick...Im not sure what happened.
