Soon another birthday will come to me
How happy I will be
Birthday number sixty four
Will be better than all before
Instead of counting candles,
Or adding up the years,
I will contemplate my blessings,
As my birthday nears.
Who have loved me and all who showed they care,
And others who’ve enriched my life
Just by being there.
Of the passing years with frinds and family ,
Experiences great and small
and think about the the grins on my face that came from all

So I will cut my cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
