Hey y'all. Alex here with my first goal update. I have already set 2 goals for myself and I think that I have recently made some definite progress in my goal to "be a better friend to me" Yesterday I posted a thread on one of the support groups I am a part of, I was asking for help and advice. I am usually the kind of person to "suffer in silence" like I have been doing for years. I think that reaching out when I needed help counts as being a better friend to myself. I know I still have a long way to go, but I think that this was a good first step for me. Love to all of you guys out there that responded to my post. I am going through some rough stuff and just knowing that there are people that care is a huge relief. Thanks again,

Not only are there people who care (which I am sure there are more people who care about you than you even know)there are also people who have gone through wht you are going through and have come out unscathed on the other side. Every moment, every day, every week, changes the cirsumstnces because the mind changes it's thoughts. It is how you react through each phase will determine what you experieence. You are going to be "all good" just be patient and aware of your surroundings and give what you can and observe the rest...lol...L

Good for you! I am glad you are taking steps to make your situation better for yourself! Its not going to be easy at all, but you can make yourself better in this area by doing simple little things for yourself, one step at a time. The toughest part is reaching out for help and you have already started to do that. Just know we are all there for you if you need a friend.
