I honestly can not remember the last time I was completely sober on the 4th of July.  Last year, I was alcohol free, but smoked a BIG fatty with a friend, on my roof, while we watched the fireworks.  I remember we tripped on a tree next door that I swear, looked like a GIANT bud. lol

And every year before that, all the way back to when I was around 16 yrs old, I was always at a party with my man of the time...and always at least drinking.  

Today marks the day that the US became independant from the Brittish and although that actually has very little meaning to me, as I am in love with  Britt and his country...I can appreciate that today, I am independant of mind altering substances.  Wow.

I only wish our town was doing fire works this year, because I would love to see if they look as good sober.  I bet they do.
