    I took my partner out this evening, and it turned out to be a pleasant, positive experience. After listening to much negativity from her on going out for New Year's Eve, I was a little on edge. I just wanted to go out with her and have a decent time. It turned out better than I thought it would, which is a positive thing for our relationship. We went and saw "The Tale of Despereaux" and got dinner from Macaroni Grill. Relationship not perfect, but I feel a bit closer to her after this evening.
