Another passage that I try to live by...... Taken from the book Daily Word for Women....It really is the most beautiful way to live each day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Granted, I can never make a first impression with the same person more than once, but each day brings new opportunities to interact with people I have never met before or with whom I may never cross paths again. So I make it a point to be friendly and compassionate to everyone.
Because I am an expression of God, I use these opportunities to put my best self forward. Walking down a street, talking on a telephone, shopping in a store, where ever there are people to meet and interact with, that is where I greet people with a smile and treat them with respect.
I may not know where life will take me or my loved ones, but I can make a point of being the best person I can be. I am doing my part by being a friend in all of my interactions with others.
Thank you God for every opportunity"
My day is ending.... What beautiful thoughts, feelings, events await me tomorrow? Good night sweet friends all over Earth.....I have been blessed to have seen some beautiful souls.....
Reading one of my favorite inspirational books, something I like to do frequently, I came across a really good passage for the day. I thought I would share with dear friends that come into my life.
"New beginnings are times for setting goals, letting go, and for looking to the future. Before I put the past behind me, I remember the important things I have learned.
I have learned through facing challenges that I am capable of dealing with whatever life presents to me. I have awakened to my own sacredness as cherished child of God, loved unconditionally by God.
I have learned other things also-the importance of loving and letting others love me in return, the value of forgiveness in all my relationships-all of which led to important breakthroughs in living.
Most important of all, I have learned that I can always start over, that each moment is a new beginning ripe with possibilities."
Remembering the anniversary of the great quake of 89. Oct 17, 1989 was a scary and horrible day for many of us here. God Bless those effected and whos lives were changed forever. We shall never forget.....May the good Lord look after us all!
loving and letting others love me... I guess that is daily words for women, no women out there are loving me or even give me the time of day
That is a good quote... Inamorata trying to get to the lovin myself part becaye u want others to love me. Then I will be able to have healthy relationships. Also I think the quote of loving yourself before loving others can be applied to both male and females (even though we females tend to be more emotional and seek love). As usual this was a good blog!!!
Sounds good to this old man too.
