  Hey there! I am 21 with Crohn's disease. I was diagnosed when I was 19, but went into remission for two years. This past August (I turned 21 in Feb) I came out of remission and am still having flare-ups. It is hard...I miss being able to eat whatever I wanted, when I wanted, and drink the same. We are young and have so much to look forward to, it is hard enough with a chronic disease! Many of my friends don't understand and it is SO embarassing to talk about...but with your disease, you will find out who your true friends are. Don't feel like you can't completely cut alcohol out of your life. In moderation it is okay. But too much of anything is bad, and unfortunately for us, we have to find this out the hard way. Feel free to message me anytime! I can definitely relate.
