My 15 year old nephew called long distance last night. I had not heard from him in several months. He has been having trouble. Drinking, smoking pot and he has been kicked out of school. His mother and adopted dad are in a bitter divorce battle since January of 08.  Dilly ( nephew) isn't dealing with the divorce very well , his mom having affairs is why theire's a divorce going on. and Dilly is upset and angry with her for tearing up his life. Dilly has had trouble with emotions and impluse control issues from birth i would say. He was a preemie and had apnea epizodes  and had to be on a monitor to make sure he was breathing til he was 6 months old.

.He's been on ADHD meds since 3rd grade. During the split up,  Mom has had him arrested for fighting with her......she hit him in the face for calling her a whore and dug her finger nails into his neck left marks (after his adopted Dad told all  the gory details of why he was leaving)and Dilly hit her back and  so she has had him arrested. Then she had Dilly put  in the behavior unit for evaluationafter child welfare department got involved. Dilly's 12 yo sister took pictures of the scratches  left from their moms finger nails and  sent the pictures to church friends. I know the dad turned the kids mom in for leaving all the kids alone at night plus the fighting They have a special needs child that wanders off and a 4 year old and a 12 year old girl besides Dilly. i'm personally glad he turned her in and maybe other people did too.. I'm glad they are looking into the case.I'm disapointed in Dillys mom but i'm more concerned for the children. I helped raise Dilly for 5 years after he was born.His Mother was unmarried and 16 years old.  Any way Dilly is being treated for bipolar now  after his trips to the behavior unit and is on Resperdome. He has stayed with hubby and i weeks at a time in the summer since his mother married his adopted dad and  his behavior was above board, i had no  clue he was bipolar. Perhaps the trama and upheaval of the divorce has cause this to surface. Dilly can be a drama queen  around his mother and i wonder if bipolar is correct or what.  Dilly also lost both of his biological gradparent  Onhis real dad's side)whom he was very close to  within less than one year. Dillys real Dad is trying to be in his life now. Anyway pray for Dilly he is a good kid with lots of problems.
