I am the mother of two beautiful, extraordinary girls.My oldest {13 yrs.} is as i call her my "sidekick", no matter how challenging the day seems, she always has a way of lifting my heart.My youngest{6} is the definition of strength, facing the challenges of Rett Syndrome, no matter what she lights up the room with her smile and laughter.I also feel blessed to have a wonderful man in my life, he has stood beside me through the toughest of times.It came as a major shock when I found out that my little one had Rett, but after some time I told myself that If I did not remain strong for myself, how could i be strong for her? It is a rough road at times, yet i would not trade it for anything or anyone! Coming from an Italian family also taught me that family is the most precious and fragile of things, that you only have one.treat it with the warmest of heart.

Looking further into a treatment and cure for Rett Syndrome, long walks, hiking, fishing, swimming, reading to and doing therapy with my daughter, baking, cooking, cleaning, painting, candles, shopping online, school functions, traveling, music, comedy, nature, Christmas, animals, quality time with friends and family.

I am a 31 yr old mother of two,Have been suffering from seizures since i was 16.
Treatments
- Dilantin Working / Worked
- Starting at 300mg's,to 500mgs,to 400mgs back to 300,now at 330mgs.I am starting to feel that my body is not absorbing it as it should.
Open Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS)
I've come to the point that I've had it up to the max of patience when it comes to the way i feel before I have my period.Shaky,upset stomach,fatigue,anxiety,thigh and leg pain,back pain,abdominal cramping{bad},fogginess,severe mood swings,appetite changes ,headaches {to the point i have to cover my whole face from any light},Is it PMDD? Most doctors look at me with a blank stare when i mention it..I often wonder if they get their degrees out of a cracker jack box!
