The weather is cool and today is my appt. with my oncologist. All I can think of tellng him is that I feel good and I do not want to take blood thinners any more. My skin marks too easily - like an old lady. 56 isn't old is it? The blood thinner is for the mediport in place. I am gonna watch lotsa football this weekend - LSU Tigers and NO Saints with my son. I am looking forward to everything!!!

My mom's skin became like that too. She would get scratched or bump into a wall lightly...and a huge reddish brown mark would appear. Aaack! Have a fun-filled weekend. GOOO TIGERS=) PS 56 aint old, so long as you stay young at heart:)

My skin is getting more like that every day....and darn it all I'm only 48!!! My Mom has skin like that tooo.....I think I inherited the gene. Have the best time ever watching football with your son this weekend!! Hugs from OKC!! Cindi

Heck no 56 isn't old!! And the bruising is probably due to the blood thinners. Once you get rid of the port you'll be your old healthy, beautiful self again. Last weekend I watched Texas Tech pummel my Nebraska Huskers. Beautiful day, beautiful weather, sad, sad game.

Hope you had an enoyable weekend. and even if you bruise easily, I'm sure you're a beautiful lady! I'm 59 myself, but must admit due to a lifetime of past abuse, I feel musch older myself. Still, let's keep running the race as long as we can run it, then we'll walk the rest of the way, hey? :)

Thanks! I'm running as fast as my big feet will carry me. Now I know whey God gave me such big feet! I think I've aged 5 years in the past year and a half but it still beats the alternative!
