My brother was gone for 4 months and finally came home Friday safe and sound. He may be sent to Guam next. What is with this world we live in? GM files bankruptcy, we're in an economic slump, so many losing jobs .....
Took Hali to mall yesterday for a hair appointment and I walked around for a bit. Found myself slumping into a deep depression missing my mother-in-law. We used to shop a lot on weekends. If only I could turn the clock back 5 years .... I'd have them both back. Maybe I could do things different.

while in Florida I asked dad to please send me a butterfly so I know he's still with me. 30 min later, while sitting by the pool, the biggest monarch few right by me and headed towards the tree. It was the first one anyone had seen!
Leaving for Florida on Saturday. This trip will be difficult since my mother-in-law won't be there. We'll be bring back her stuff. I hope at the very least, the weather is warm. Our friends will be down there too, so glad for their support!
