Work for the County Board of MR/DD and really love my job. I teach people how to work and find a lot of joy and satisfaction doing it. I ride motorcycles and love to watch truck pulls. Oh, I happen to have mixed bipolar as well.

there is by no need to apologize for anything. you habe done no wrong, and there is no need to apologize when no wrong has been done. i could be doing better i must admit but i am sure for the time being that i will live. things come, and things go, and sometimes families fall apart. by one or both actions of people. what can be done in such matters? i am not sure, personally, but i am sure in time i will find out.

ah i think in time you'll do wonderful. time is all that needs. seeds don't grow in ahurry thay take their time, and a new life as well (or a shaping) of life needs time as well. i think you'll be doing great though :)

Close Bipolar Disorder
What is there to say? Didn't get properly diagnosed until I was 38. Been on everything with no success, currently on Lamictal, but still feel manic a lot. oh well, life goes on!!!

- Abilify Working / Worked
- got suicidal
- Ativan Not Working
- Went to hospital 2 times while on it.
- Depakote Not Working
- Gave me bad indegestion
- Group Therapy Not Working
- Everyone there seemed that they felt they were Bipolar first, and a person 2nd.
- Haldol Working / Worked
- zombiefied
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- On Now, best one yet
- Lithium Not Working
- Couldn't work for 3 months while on it.
- Risperdal Not Working
- Bad, gave me pancreatitis
- Seroquel Not Working
- Didn't seem to do anything...Didn't help with sleep at all.
- Tegretol Not Working
- Ate it like candy....Nothing
- Topamax Not Working
- Didn't help at all
- Trileptal Not Working
- Was on it, don't really remember why I was and why I was taken off of it.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Gave me headaches
- Zyprexa Not Working
- It combined with Zoloft = suicide for me.
Close Vegetarians & Vegans
Type: OtherI would like to be a vegetarian, possibly vegan later on, but heard you have to take a lot of supplements. I'm hoping to get some good all around information.
