I was in the military for 21 1/2 years. Just got med retired with CFS. Mother of 3, divorced. Enjoy OU football, quilting, woodworking, horses. Do as much as possible, though all is getting more difficult. Philosophy: Enjoy every day, appreciate what you have..especially friends and family.

Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Work area got contaminated (bats and birds, dead one, nest, poop, asbestos, etc) in June of 2004. I got very sick. Had to work in that for almost 6 months. After getting to leave that area, some symptoms lessened, but never 'got well'. Extremely tired all the time, some days some muscles won't work, lose voice for weeks at a time, pain, headaches, not able to think or remember as well, difficulty breathing...i could sleep forever! Got kicked out of the military because of it.
Treatments
- Provigil Working / Worked
- Made me able to stay awake for the work day. Dosage was raised twice.
