18 half ani-waya (cherokee) native american, been suffering from anxiety for about a year now and dueling it out with alcohol because of it lol. Im a real happy mellow guy just sometimes out of nowhere i get severe panic attacks..fight or flight just wont act right lol

Hi- Just a suggestion here - I take Zoloft for mild to moderate, also Xanax for anxiety. But I have read that Xanax can be very effective for panic attacks. I have never had one, but one of my cousins gets them sometimes. She told me the first time she & her husband were at a bookstore and she was so freaked out she went and hid in the ladies' room until it passed.

My father was I guess 1/8 Native American and he sure couldn't drink much -- I could out-drink him when I was 15. On my mother's side there is a lot of Irish and Welsh.... and those Celts are notorious for both their drinking and their capacity for drinking lots:)

- started working out and getting into my health and drinking didnt seem to be as important...but every now then still hit a binge or two
