I saw a post where you said you're ovulating and hoping clomid works for you. Clomid worked for me on my first round (100mg along with 1500mg of Metroformin) so good luck to you! Definitely keep us posted.

    • Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 24, now 35. In the beginning, I was not really understanding it all and was put on Metformin and birth control. I had serious weight problems and stopped the meds. I have been to 3 OB/GYNs now and 2 endocronlogists since I am now married over 2 years and nothing. I just finished one cycle of clomid and day one of ovulation tests came back positive, I know this will not necessarily work but it at least gives me hope. Has anyone experienced this?

      Treatments

      Clomid Too Soon to Tell
I had some nasty side effects but not unbearable, high ups and downs, nausea, some eye blurrieness, irritability. I think most of the side effects possible. It has worked as far as my 1st ovualtion test was positive - lets see if I do get pregnant now.
      Metformin Too Soon to Tell
I am on 750 mg of Metformin 2x a day as well as the clomid. I have noticed some mood swings but think it is from the clomid, but my cycle did come within 3 weeks of taking - not sure medicine or just me are responsible at this point. So far, I have not noticed any side effects.
