I would like to tell you all a little bit about what makes me tick!
I have always marched to a very diffrent drum. To some people I am very hard to
understand--would like to think, that even tho I'm "out there marching all alone
sometimes. I am a very thoughtful, caring person. I strive to convey, this to most
people I meet. I am always on the computer. And have been for the last 11 years.
When i came to DS, I had just had this flare. I was sad, sick and wondering about what
was happening to me. Doctors tell you very little...or mine anyway. It was all so scary. I
had never known ANYONE with ms. I planned on asking a few questions-and split-
I looked it over and thought--friend list--hugbook--kinda -first grade to me--
WRONG SO WRONG- Like i said-- I have been online for about 11 years, but never
fooled around with anything like this. Never participated in any chat boards , or things
like that. I' m justmwinging it. Not really sure of what's wrong or right. I truly hope you
guys can tolerate me.
Maybe at first, I was seeking sympathy--I dunno. But a post from Lila , (my opinon of
her, she's a very smart bird)-and from her we can learn a lot) her comment made me
me realize that SYMPATHY was the last thing I wanted, because seeking sympathy, to
me is kinda like...just giving up. And to me this is about the worst that could happen to
us.
MY GOOFY STUPID POSTS- ya see guys, writing IS VERY THERAPEUTIC --all my life, it
has been very important to me. (I know i don't do it well) incorrect grammer, incorrect
sentence structure, and form very bad spelling--oh well I told you I am very weird. I
found something on DS, I never expected to find, these people, some of them, are very
funny, very soon, after arriving here, I got back, the precious ability to laugh, THANKS
GUYS FOR GIVING ME THAT--when I act very stupid, DS has made me happy, and I
guess in my warped little way-just trying to give it back.
DANCE-all my life music has been very important to me. To me this song is offering
hope and inspiration. Maybe some of you guys are thinking --WHAT ? NOW SHE --IS
telling msers to dance--some can't even walk--my little version is so DIFFERENT there is
very little "boogie" going on- in this version-To me, the song is saying so much more
than"get up and "boogie"" to me, it is saying "promise me ,that you will give faith a
fighting chance", never take one single breath for granted" "WHEN YOU THINK OF
GIVING UP -RECONSIDER See i am NOT asking you to "boogie" I am asking you TO TRY
AND BE STRONG!

DS has gave me so many things--potential friends, something to do, many, many answers
to my questions, therapy, soul exploration, and hope.
It has made me realize, that my condition is very scary, and frustrating. But i'm not
alone. It has also shown me that "AS OF NOW" I'm very lucky, and it could and is, in some
cases be A WHOLE LOT WORSE
I hope in my own way, to inspire others, to never give up-try hard not to feel sorry for
yourself, be strong, and I hope in my own little way i make them sometimes LAUGH!

Love that song, Sherry. I,too, came here looking for answer and decided to stay, and I am glad we both did. I enjoy your posts and I am sorry you are dealing with so much physically right now and with DR STUPID.

you must have my old dr....grin...and lila -aka monkey..rofl...is right hon...sympthay is the last thing most of us need..but most of us think we want...and soon realize that..smile...if we find something to smile at each day...we have made it...
