Flower
Just a little batch of flowers for you to wake up to. So sorry you had such a sad night...these conversations really hit hard, I know. Hope today is a brighter one for you!

You are so right. My husband had stopped going to church. Two of the choir members convinced him to come back, knowing full well his Alz. condition. What it did for his morale as he accepted and was accepted by all.
You are so right! They need friends and social lives.

Ray of Sunshine
Sending you some sunshine on a Fall day from TN. Your post was so touching about the lady who calms your hubby. We all know you must be an angel and I think that just about proves it! Bless you, Love, Joy

You have my sympathy. We found a dead skunk in our back yard. The entire garage smells of skunk. At least our house is clear. How do you get rid of dead skunk? The trash-- and tell them to take the barrel too? Good luck.

Close Alzheimer's Disease
My husband is a VN vet with 100% PTSD and then I noticed that he seemed to be worse so I took him to the VA for evaluation and found out that he now has some kind of dementia, probably ALZ. From what I have read he is probably in the middle going on to late stages.
Treatments
- Aricept Working / Worked
- seems to be making his concentration level better
Close Dementia
I take care of my husband full time. He is a 60 yr old VN vet who had PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) first then in the past year I started noticing he was doing things that don't fall under the symptoms of PTSD so after a few visits and even emergency room visits he has been diagnosed with dementia, probably moderate to severe stages.
Treatments
- Aricept Somewhat Helpful
- It seems to be helping with concentration.
