Type: Loss of a Partner/SpouseMy husband passed away after an 11 month battle with lung cancer. I was and still am very much in love with him. He died 16 days ago and its very lonely without him.
Treatments
- Keeping Busy Somewhat Helpful
- been busy cleaning the house, moving furniture and still writing thank you notes from the memorial service.
- Prayer Too Soon to Tell
- I pray everyday maybe 4 or 5 times a day..I pray that he that he is with God. That he is looking down and watching over us. I pray for stength and courage. I pray for enlightenment on what I am going to do with my life now.
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- my oldest daughter has really been good to help. We have been busy raising my 3 year old grandchild and when hubby got real sick, my oldest daughter has really stepped up to the plate. She is helping with the 3 year old and forcing me to work in the yard.
- Talking Working / Worked
- Friends and family do call, but I realize there is no magic pill that is going to totally take away the pain...Dont get me wrong, lexapro helps but I go into his closet and try to get a scent of him. I end up hugging and sqeezing his favorite shirt...I have to semi pretend things are ok...I have a 3 year old to care for but I dont feel ok.
