I like swimming, jetskiing, even yardwork. I used to have some "friends" but they don't see me anymore because I can't do the things I used to do with them anymore. I would like to talk to people with similar problems, to see how they are handling it.

thank you so much, It has been so hard for me the last few weeks.when i am not well enough to take care of mom when she is sick , it makes me anxious and un nerved. my brothers and neices and nephews live out of town so its just me and the good Lord.

Close Chronic Pain
I have had chronic pain for 3 1/2 years and the only medication that relieves my pain is one that seems to be popular for selling and abusing. I would NEVER do that cause I have to be on a schedule or I can't function. After being treated badly by many doctors, I finally found one who is comfortable giving me the dose I need to relieve my pain. I believe this will be a lifelong condition so I am sincerely grateful for your support. I hope I have helped some of you and I will continue to do so.

- using it now...usually works well and keeps me 70% pain free most of the day.

Close Fibromyalgia
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia although I've heard that's the "fall back on" diagnosis when they don't know what's really wrong. I have all over pain which started 3 1/2 years ago after getting radiation for cancer. My last doctor sent me to many specialists with no result. Finally he said it was fibro but did not send me to a fibro specialist. My new doctor is doing that; I hope I learn something. I'd like to hear what other people are doing as far as medicine, treatments, doctors.

- works for a little while when I'm in it but sometimes it doesn't seem like it's worth the 60 mile round trip drive so I saved up for an air jet tub which hopefully will be installed by next Saturday.
- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- Cymbalta Not Working
- didn't work plus bad side effects
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- electric blanket works but can't use heating pads cause I'd need about 20 for all my pain
- Lyrica Not Working

- made me feel spacey which took my mind off it temporarily but I don't like the feelimg
