I am a mum to two boys, five and three. It is the five year old who is waiting for a dx. I have been married for seven and a half years. My husgand is in the army, I have just moved back to the UK to be near family as Ethan was really unsettled.. I am an archaeologist by trade, although being a full time mum is more than enough work for me!! The photo is of Ethan my five year old. Hope it makes you smile as it does me.

We finally have a dx on our five year old boy. We really need to know the best ways to care for and help our wonderful boy and any tips any parents could give us. He is very bright, way ahead the rest of his class but lacks social awareness - others needs and feelings and so on. He still has big tantrums, mostly in public. Any advice taken.
We thought that our son had aspergers syndrome but are now told that it could be separation anxiety, as it displays some of the same symptoms. He does not have a problem leaving mum or dad so I am finding things a bit hard. I had bad PND after he was born and am told this could be the start of it. Any help / advice would be greatfully recieved
