Diagnosed with hep c about 10 years ago...genottype 1b stage 2 verging on three...a blood transfusion 30 years ago the probable cause. I am just now starting a clinical trial...traditional treatment with an 80% chance of receiving the trial drug...a protease inhibitor...keeping my fingers crossed. Very scary but remaining positive.

Wow, That is different from my as we did our for 4 weeks with a 80% chance of getting the inhibitor. They told us what our VL was for the fourth week which took them to the 8th week for us to know. The Fourth week and I was undetechable and at one month post too. Now waiting til Aug the 2nd for my three month post result, and my nurse told me if we are stil undet. We have a high 90% chance o beat it. Good luck and my god be on your side. The Gator (Don)
