Journal Entry for January 7, 2009 Mood
Wednesday, January 7, 2009

I feel like a broken record when I respond to some posts...I'm always saying "I'm so with you!" or "Same for me!" or something of the sort. I'm quite appreciative to see that there are similarities between some of my ails and yours. It helps me.

I value the people on this site and I know where you're coming from (yeah I say that a lot but it's true!) and I am soooo glad you know where I'm coming from too.

It's a rough ride, but we're not alone, right? We are not alone. I am not alone. You are not alone.

-Your friend in suffering but even more so hopefully in healing!

Elizabeth

I rarely read my friends journals for lack of energy but something told me to check up on you. That is a nice entry. It is ironic because you say you feel like a broken record, but that is one of the things I like about you. When you say something I believe you,and feel like you mean it.You come off as a very sincere person........lol did u know that?Your friend-Jen

You are not alone, elizabeth i really feel the battle you are fighting and wish i could help in some way, the one thing you continue to do is fight (ok i know there are days you dont feel like it, but we wont count them , lol) and i am sure you are on the path of turning your life around. as you know the only thing i can offer is the distant reiki healing (i didnt manage to send last night as i have not been very well with flu) and i really hope this makes a difference, i will send again tonight
i dont know what other advice i can offer but just to say continue to be who you are, this is something within your spirit that shines through x

I do love the uplifting words, but am just sad we don't seem to be finding any answers. I guess I am looking for a cure, for an ease to the pain?!
Your entry was well said! :)

KatieJP, I know what you're saying about uplifting words, but sad about not finding answers for the pain. I was feeling the exact same way. I don't know you're age, but I suffered off and on increasingly for about 35 years with bladder/urethral pain that became unbearable. I had been diagnosed with 3 different autoimmune diseases and have had cancer twice. I attended a Lupus support group, and was grateful for the kind words, but kept waiting and hoping for someone to have the answer to the pain. I have tried so many things over many many years. I have had a number of side effects from drugs so started up the natural herbs path and found that it's a combination of several things, not just one or a few. A friend gave me some herbal supplements that have helped a lot of people with autoimmune diseases. The ones I take are particularly targeted towards inflammation. It is called "Arthaffect." You can contact the company directly to try the product at toll free:

Reading through your replies, I wondered if anyone had concidered the naturopathic approach, which can be summed up by 'If structure can govern function then function must also be able to influence structure'
What that means is:- if your structure is out of balance then you cannot function correctly, and conversely, if function is in control then it is a dietary problem.
For a level playing field this has to exclude congenital problems or having been seriosly smashed up.
Should anyone be interested, please message me.
    Here to help, Don.

Dietary seems so simplistic though...I've tried a lot of different dietary and other approaches. Maybe "smashed up" is subjective.
I am open to hearing more though on any sort of healing.

    Thank you.
