I think it's time to move on. The past few weeks have been too fucked up. The thing is I just don't give a damn anymore.

Iraq war veteran. Surgery on left ankle twice. Ankle is useless. I have exhausted the military medical system and I will be medically retired, not what I had planned or what I want. Looking forward to being able to run in the future, with or without the leg.
Iraq war veteran. Severe injury to lower left leg. PTSD diagnosis use to be fatal in the Army, not any more.
Iraq veteran. Medical hold for 1 1/2 years. Deployed for 26 months from home.
Iraq vet, lower left leg reconstructed Apr 06, foot and ankle not working and very painful. Working with the Army toward having foot replaced. This is an easy decision for me. The whole quality of life aspect.
