Thanks for the flowers! Heres a present in return (it can be whatever you want it too be) they really made me feel better. Well, as better as i can feel at the moment! I'll think of your good wishes next time i feel weepy xxxxxxx
Haven't been "officially" diagnosed with this yet. (My med ins kicks in Jan 1st...) From everything I read and talking to those suffering from this, I believe that I have Bipolar II with hypomania.
Husband says he cannot take my health problems (which result in a lack of doing housework, etc.) anymore. Tells me this after 18 years of marriage. We are soulmates and have always talked of being together forever. I feel really let down and confused. I told him that we agreed to "in sickness and in health". He's giving me "a little while to work on my depression" since I will finally have med ins effective 01/2009.
Have not been officially diagnosed with this. My med ins kicks in Jan 1st and then we will see...
I have been diagnosed with depression, but by my GP. I think it may actually be Bipolar with hypomania. My med ins is going into effect Jan 1st, so I hope to pursue a better diagnosis or at least a seconf opinion. I have been plagued by depression for 10+ years and it is about to drive my husband of 18 years away. He has given me a bit more time to get it under control. Cross your fingers for me!
I have been experiencing chronic pain since high school (that I can remember!).
Have only ever had a few seizures (tonic-clonic) and they always occur while I am sleeping. Haven't had one while taking 300mg Trileptal immediately before bed.
Have not been officially diagnosed with this, though from my research I am certain I have this. My med ins kicks in Jan 1st and then we will see...
I mainly have problems falling asleep though lately I have had problems waking up many times a night due to aches, pains and having to change positions. It takes me 1-2 hours to fall asleep usually. Longer and I get back up to read or something.
Don't have this right now, so I joined this group for pointers... LOL.

Have had migraines for 15+ years and have tried just about all the available drugs to combat them. I have migraines triggered by hormones once a month, by muscular tension and by who knows what else.
Only had one bad time with this. Was a lot of pain and bleeding outside my normal menstrual cycle. Got an ultrasound and there they were. Dr said that if it kept bothering me we would try some meds. (Haven't yet.)
I think this is due to the hypomanic phases of my bipolar depression. Have not gotten my bipolar officially diagnosed yet - depression I have though. My med ins kicks in Jan 1st and then we will see...
Wore a "splint" thingy when I was younger but it never helped. I have tension head and neck aches almost daily now. Probably due to TMJ and my other conditions combined.
Wore a "splint" thingy for TMJ when I was younger but it never helped. I have tension head and neck aches almost daily now. Probably due to TMJ, grinding and clenching and my other conditions combined.
I think my tinnitus results from my TMJ. Some times are worse than others, but I don't know why.
I am a horrible procrastinator. I believe part of it comes from being depressed for the last 15+ years though. Because of my depression and anxiety disorder, I have a distorted perception of the passage of time which definitely helps spur on my procrastination and time management problems!!!
I am 5' 0" and I'm sure that will go down as I get older. People always comment on my height and some tease me about it. It is hard to find clothes that fit correctly - even the petite size don't sometimes. I always tell myself that "being short is distinguishing". PC term = vertically challenged.
Have had generalized anxiety disorder for 15+ years with panic attacks every now and then. I haven't had a panic attack for a good while though. I used to have them frequently and even would wake myself up several times a night having one!
I have issues with anger because of my various conditions - depression and anxiety especially.
I was diagnosed with Thalessemia minor when I was in jr. high. As an adult, I had this verified by a blood specialist. (He also found that I have Gilbert's Syndrome, another supposedly symptom-free disease.) My GP found that I was low on iron about 2 yrs ago, but I wasn't sure if it was just my Thal. making them think that. Then I lost ins and had to wait. My new med ins goes into effect the 1st of '09 so I am going to work on getting all my many conditions straight then. Ugh.
