About Me
Married 27 years, have two daughters, 21 and 15, and I'm a stay at home mom due to medical problems, not being able to drive because I can't see well enough even with corrective lenses and I stay home for my kids! I am not here for pity or sympathy...frienships, advice etc. I joined after finding out I had skin cancer. I am also a member of the Gallstones group because I've had 28 years of pain and about 600 (yes that was 600)stones removed, and even without a gallbladder, I am still having them removed on a fairly regular basis. I am not very active in any group except the Skin Cancer family but that is by choice. I really like to help people and it helps me when I can help someone else.

Interests
I enjoy many different crafts, music, classic movies, working in the yard, spending quality time with my friends and family, reading, games, puzzles and being a hopeless romantic! Major pet peeves...lying, racial issues, know it alls and hippocrites! I am a christian and do believe in God but I am not a "holy roller". The power of prayer is unbelievable!! I end most of my messages and everything else with PEACE&LOVE because, to me, when a person can find true inner peace and learn to love themself, the world around them will see..and with that, I wish all to also find peace and to love and allow yourself to be loved. OK, That's It Folks!

Hey, So How have you been? I'm going to say something I hope your not offended, But if you just glance at the picture of your shoulder it almost looks like a women boob, I had your pictures up and my son said Mom, what are you looking at!! He thought for sure it was your Boobie. Just tought I'd tell you I cracked up, guess we know where my my 16 yr old sons mind is at...I'm not letting my X get to me, I'm looking for steady work and moving forward. Your daughters are very beautiful...

Close Skin Cancer
Type: Basil Cell CacinomaI was diagnosed with skin cancer in November and have had 3 biops. and one surgery since. I am just looking for some one to talk to since my friends and family don't need the extra pressure.

- Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- not very pleasant and wont heal!
Close Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Gallstones that weren't diagnosed for 6 years and 21 years of stones in my GI tract and liver to this day! 13 stomach surgerys and the gallbladder was the first to go!

- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- Librax Somewhat Helpful
- been on it 15 yrs. so it's not as affective as it used to be
Open Gallstones
6 1/2 years undiagnosed, gallbladder removal, stones in common bile duct, more surgery, stones in liver.. still having surgery to remove these and will from now on. more than 500 countable stones removed! has led to IBS and severe spastic stomach

- Actigall Somewhat Helpful

- Low Fat Diet Not Working
- doesn't matter what I eat. genetics is more of the cause
- Librax Somewhat Helpful
- a stromach relaxant the dose I take is more then normal so.. after the years on it I only know it helps if I stop taking it
Open Osteoporosis
I'm 46 and have the bone density of a woman almost twice my age. My case is because of gallstones that form in my liver that are calcium and cholesterol based. I am truly between a rock and a hard place with this ! I'm not overweight, the high cholesterol is genetic and my gyn and gastroenterologist get to figure something out soon!
