      My mom has had a gambling addiction for the past 6 years or so. She has taken everything from my family from pink slips to social security checks. I've tried to get her in counseling and gambling anonymous. It's impossible to help someone who does not want to be helped. My weekly trip is to our local casino to drag my mom home.

      My mom and I are no longer speaking even though we live under the same household.

      I have talked to several members and went to a support group for family members affected by gamblers.

      everytime i have a craving i try to convince myself its going to be the most digusting thing i put in my mouth. so far, its work for 75 days.
