About Me
Well I am a 26 year old separated mother of a 6 year old son with hydrocephalus. He was shunted at almost 1 year old. He also has Cerebral Palsy as well and CVI. I love reading and writing and doing whatever I can with him. He can walk but has balance issues and wears DAFO's on both legs. When he was born he had a grade IV bleed. If you want to know anything else feel free to ask. I am currently unemployed which I can't stand. I hope everyone has a great day

Close Hydrocephalus
My son is five years and 8months. He was 25weeks and 4 days gestation and has shunted hydracephelus. It was gradeIV. He has a few other medical problems as well.
Treatments
- Shunts Working / Worked
- It seems to have helped him alot he was shunted at almost a year old. He started doing more and showing more improvement after it was placed.
Close Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: OtherMy son is five and was born with Hydrocephelus and has visual impairment. He was just diagnoised with CVi last school year. He also has Nstagmus

- Laser Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- He received it because he was experiencing retional detachment I belive its called.
- Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- He had the muscles in his left left cut and one tightened up to help with crossing
