I lost my pituitary gland in 2003 due to a tumor. In 2007 they did a stim test and I am now in secondary adrenal failure. It looks like I traded Cushings Disease for Addisons Disease.

Close Addison's Disease
I lost my pit in 2003 due to tumor. As of last year my adrenals are flatline. It appears I have traded Cushings Disease for Addisons.
Treatments
- Cortisol Working / Worked
- I am using 25mg of hydrocortisone daily I use 15mg in AM, 5mg at lunch, and 5mg at dinner. Anything lower creates nausea, tremors and extreme fatigue.
- Desmopressin Working / Worked
- I can no long make ADH so I use 1mg daily of desmopressin. I use half in AM and half in PM before bed. Initially they tried me on the spray but could not void for 8 hours after just one dose but can tolerate the tablets.
