    • Moment of Peace

      From DiaJake November 17

Found out something yesterday that you and everyone with COPD should understand. I have been feeling really bad over the last couple of months. I found myself having a harder & harder time going out; even the slight distance to my truck in my driveway without really hurting in my chest and having a hard time breathing. My Dr. told me yesterday that lungs don't really have pain issues. As it turns out, my chest mussels have been strained or pulled during my physical therapy and besides the hurt walking does; it also makes it hard to breath. My Dr also told me to take 800 mil of ibuprofen (Advil) per day and use a heating pad for 20 minutes at a time. I got some med when I left the drs office and by the time I got home and walked in.... no pain! I was thinking my COPD was moving into a harder stage getting worse but instead it had nothing to do with the COPD. I guess a lesson learned is....... don't think some new hurt or ailment is part of an existing problem because the new problem probably wrong diagnosis. It’s a beautiful day here, hope you are doing ok~

      Hi Katie,
I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. I've had rashes before and they make you miserable. I used Vinegar diluted with water to take the itch out before. Get well soon.
      Hugs,
      Nellie
