Mother of 4 children--ages 18, 17, 16, 14. My 2 daughters have Lyme--and my younger son is showing signs of having it. My 17 yr. old has been on oral abx. about a year now. My 16 year old is on IV abx. and is unable to attend school. My 14 yr. old has been on oral abx since Feb. '09 and is doing well.

Close Lyme Disease
I have 2 daughters, ages 17 and 16 that have Lyme disease. They have been treated since July of '08. One has a reduced schedule at school. The other has been out of school--since March of '08. She currently has a homebound service provider--and can only handle 1 class right now. She now has a PICC line for IV antibiotics. My younger son is also showing signs of Lyme. I'm trying to understand Lyme to provide the best support I can for my children.
