Close Hypochondria
I noticed this 'stupid' episode began just after i started doing a course through work. I got a pain in my leg that i immediately thought was bone cancer,(yes i did google it) i then got pains & pins/needles in left arm which i convinced myself i had heart problems - the latest problem is i've spent last 3 days in A&E with violent head pain, convinced I had brain bleed. Will this ever stop! I knows its all caused by stress, but i cant keep putting my very supportive family through it. Bev x
Close Endometriosis
I started with endo 14 years ago, i'm now 28 and think i'm just about able to control my pain with the right meds. I've been admitted to hospital a few times and hooked up to morphine. I now take co-codamol )high strength) naproxen and tramadol to deal with the pain. Big hugs to you all with endo...its not nice x
Treatments
- Provera Not Working
- Nothing seemed to work for my endo pain unfortunately
- Zoladex Not Working
- I had zoladex injections for 6 months, that was the best 6 months of my life - no period and no pain..woohoo. If only it was to last. As soon as i stopped the zoladex the pain came back worse than ever. I got admitted to hospital for 3 days on morphine that time. It didnt work for me.
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- I did a bit of self research and found out that naproxen if taken 2 days before period due blocks all the pain signals. I gave it a try and guess what...it works!I do still get pain but i have tramadol morphine family for that. It wipes me out for a day but it gets rid of the pain.
