Welcom Leigh80. It sounds like you have had quite an adventure even getting consistent exams! I hope it goes better in future for you. I have not heard of extra periods with prolactinoma, but then I have not been had this for long either. We are here to support you whatever you need. I hope you are able to get your answers soon.

Hang in there, you need to try the medication. I will tell you there are side effects with the cabergoline but it works fast. And it has balanced me out. Remember all this you are feeling is normal for a prolactinoma. By the way surgery is not the best way to go. There is a good chance you will mess up other hormone. Since this is such a limited space, I'll just include the bare minimum. I have recently found out that the problems I have been having were caused by a prolactinoma. I thought knowing what it was would make it better, but in someways I now have more anxiety than I did before...
