I was raped by a therapist and still feel like it's my fault. I once almost ended my life but a friend called the police. I will never do that again. My life is on the up and up and although I have seen some very bad nights/days where I spiraled DOWN I am now spiraling up

Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Fear of abandonment. Perceived Abandonment several times in the past 2 yrs by loved ones as well as a perceived breakup with a church. I have kept some friends from that group. I am lucky there. The rape has stripped me of my identity and I'm finally seeing the woman I am in the mirror more clearly now.

- It worked for the beginning stages of my therapy and then too much introspection and no action plan with clear end goals in mind made me feel helpless and victim rather than survivor and victor

- Even in a small support group I was fearful It helped but I wasn't as committed as I could have been . many of the members did not share my story and they did not have children and it made a huge difference to me. I wish someone (a mother) was in that small group.

- Had one. Was ok. Was like therapy for awhile and got good advice but in the end was too much of a crutch and could not maintain without the trainer in the pic. I had to relearn the whole routine on my own in order to keep a longterm committment to exercise.

- Works when there is no other interesting activitiy available but you know you head is spinning and you need a quick fix. 25-30 min. of sprinting will take off any crazy feelings fast

- YES Love the water. :) It is so therapeutic. I am very into this right now. I am hooked on to my backstroke ...because I can feel like I'm flying while gazing at the sky above . I feel like I'm between sky and water and earth ...a really magical place where I feel healing is happening

- it made me feel strong and healthy. Progress is easy to track because you can lift more as time goes on. I gave it up because i started to buff up too much. I will still do it but not as often as I did before. I don't want to look HUGE

- Yes. I just have to practice daily and get myself to more group classes which keeps me more motivated
