I'm a 59 year old husband and father of two girls, ages 7 and 10 (wow, huh). I'm most passionate about my family; and long-time friends are treasured. I especially enjoy helping people laugh and feel good. My favorite reward is when someone says I'm a "good guy."

No way I'm letting go Jim. You deserve a great and final quit whether you want it or not and I'm going to beat on your head until you have it! Yeah, the Avatar video was just a real basic "this is how I do it" and not really a teaching tool. My next will be teaching how. Probably 4-5 differant techniques along with "homework" for people who want to learn. The quit smoking video is still in the planning stages. If you come up with good name ideas for the whole program, throw them at me. Anywho, good luck with the job search, you are in my prayers.
HOOOOWHEEEEEE! That was quite the hug you gave me! =) I know you relapsed into smoking but you absolutely will quit again and it will be soon. Sometimes planning ahead works well, other times you just sort of wake up one morning and say "awww screw it...I'm done smoking" I believe the thought of quitting invades your brain every time you light up and if that's the case then you won't be smoking much longer. I loved your friend's story! I remember the days of sticking my thumb out and being able to go anywhere I wanted and even meeting some fantastic folks. Some weren't so fantastic but I managed to escape relatively unscathed. The thing is...we ALL lit up back then and it was not necessarily tobacco that we were smoking. Did I hear you have a new job? How is that working out for you?
I've smoked for about 40 years, and am overwhelmingly addicted. I try to hide my smoking from my little kids, but I'm not fooling them. As a matter of fact, I try to hide from all non-smokers because it's a very embarassing habit, as well as life-threatening.
