Close Depression

I started actively into treatment a year and a half ago but, have moved and am waiting that first appt. in a new state. I made the smart decision (sarcasism) to go off meds and realize that I shouldn't expect my problems to fix in less time than it took to build them up.

Treatments

Effexor Working / Worked

I still had to be on another medicaiton in order for it to be helpful.

Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful

when I'm really down, positive thoughts are nonexistant.

Prozac Not Working

Did not work and made me suicidal

Psychotherapy Working / Worked

I just wish I still had my same therapist.

Seroquel Somewhat Helpful

I was put on seroquel when a reaction to another medication caused me to need to be off of mood stabilizers. I used it to, primarily, help me sleep

Zoloft Not Working

I didn't stay on the medication long enough for it to work.

Biaxin Working / Worked

paired with effexor it worked wonders for me. I hope the doctor will listen to me and put me on this medication.
