  Enclosed is some good 'ol Christmas cheer to have with the work-up to Christmas. I had to go to town today and it was frantic with shoppers all gearing up for the big day. I must sit down and write my cards, have not started yet. I might get them done in time for Xmas 2009! Cheers

  Hi Firewall. Thanks for your message. Welcome to DS. I am new here too, only been a member for a couple of weeks. I find the groups really interesting and so far everyone's comments have been very helpful. I must admit I'm still finding my way around too. Living on "the other side of the black stump", I hav'nt got access to a great deal of information/support locally, so having an avatar gives me the opportunity to ask those "dumb" questions that you would really like answers to. I was interested in your comments re: solar. That is our aim too. We have solar hot water, but have to pump water using power. Wind/solar power are the way we want to eventually become energy efficient. I'll let you know how we go. About 25k to set-up, selling or ?? recieving credits back from the main grid. All the best.
