About Me
Hi my name is Heather i live in Charlotte NC.I am recently engaged and a mother of 2 beautiful boys 14 and 17 yrs. I decided to stay in Charlotte after my youngest son was born, because of his cerebral palsy .My oldest is graduating this yr and off to college!!! Yeah for him. I grew up in Kailua Hawaii where my family still lives and try to visit whenever possible. I joined this group for support.I have had many health issues over the last 8 yrs and try to deal with them the best i can.I would love to meet new people and just have the strength and support to know that others go through the same feelings.I have av-node re-entry tachycardia and for the most part ...I have pretty good days...Although my cardiologist says its not dangerous and i wont die from it , , its hard not to be afraid. I pray take my medicine and watch what i eat and drink.. Sorry long winded...I have also had renal cell carcinoma, Raynauds Phenomenon, Barrretts Esophagus, Gerd and the list goes on. I would like to say though that , , , i am so grateful for God my family and for all the wonderful people i have not meet yet!!!!

I love soccer, surfing, anything that had to do with the ocean.I have a dog a cat .I like to spend time with friends and family eating and cooking. Sometimes just spending the day with a good book....

Type: TachycardiaI was experience what the docs called anxiety...I told them nah its not anxiety and 7 yrs later realizing i had avnrt..I used beta blockers for yrs and then had my ablation 2 yrs ago.I feel it was successful and not at all as bad as it was.I still have tachycardia at times and scares me so much..

- Radiofrequency Ablation Somewhat Helpful
- Good results although i must pay close attention to my foods and medicines cos it will still happen .
- Verapamil Not Working
- doc tried to switch me with horrible results was off beta blocker for 3 days...I had ended up back in the hospital twice in 24 hours

Robbed and left for dead at my job...Beat up really bad and continue with chronic pain.Continue to have anxiety and panic during my sleep...

Open Cerebral Palsy
I am the mother of a handsome son who was born with cerebral palsy.The doctors said Hunter would not live past one yr..He is 14 yrs old and is my hero.He has gone through so much and never complains.He always has a smile.He has the heart of an angel and smart as a whip ~ Cant always believe what the doctors tell you......
