Close Infidelity
My wife has been cheating on me for 18 months. I am trying to stay for sake of kids. She may have bipolar type II. Her psychiatrist and counselor are having difficulty helping her b/c she resists. She has substance abuse issues as does OM. I am hanging in there but tough. Recently retired (early). Build decks on my schedule. Spending time with my kids is wonderful for me.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Somewhat Helpful
- Excellent counselor. The first who has ever made break-throughs with my wife. My wife gets scared when counselor begins to make too much progress though. That's part of her psychosis. Currently not going, but hope to get her back soon.
- Lamictal Too Soon to Tell
- Wife takes for bipolar type II. If it has no effect counselor believes W has a character disorder/neurosis that will require deep psychotherapy. W will resist that path. I still want to help her in spite of her cheating.
Close Healthy Sex
I consider myself to be "blessed" sexually. I have been highly sexual since my "awakening" in college (girls in small hometown more like sisters to me). I am a passionate, caring, and creative lover and value the same in my partner.
