Interests
I love reading books, it takes my mind somewhere else completely.I love playing games on the computer, Nintendo DS, or PS2.I love spending time with my amazing boyfriend Tai.I love hang out with my friends and goof off.I watch ALOt of TV lol and movies.I love music and listen to alot of it.I write poetry and journal entries quite often to relieve stress.

Close Cystic Fibrosis
I was diagnosed at 6 months old.My parents figured out I had it 3 days after I was born.My dad worked to support me and my mom.It took her almost 6 months to find a dr that would believe her & do the sweat test.After that we were sent to LeBonheur in Memphis & my parents learned everything they needed to know.I was taken care of in the most excellent way and would stay out of the hospital for yrs at a time.Cf really hit me at 13.Coughing up blood,no appetite,the usual.I'm still dealing w it now
Treatments
- ADEKs Multivitamin Working / Worked
- i took them for yrs but stopped when Source CF came out
- Amikacin Working / Worked
- I took it a few times but after a few times it didn't really help anymore.
- Chest Percussion Working / Worked
- It helps but I hate doing it.
- Cipro Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes it would work sometimes not.I always took the oral form and always wound up in the hospital anyways.
- Creon Working / Worked
- It is the only enzyme that ever worked.
- Hypertonic Saline Not Working
- I hate this stuff.All it does is set my throat and nose on fire and it never made me cough.
- MucoMyst Not Working
- Oh my God I hate this stuff.It did nothing for me plus it smelled horrible.
- Pulmozyme Working / Worked
- It is like breathing fresh air to me and seems to thin the mucus pretty good.
- ThAIRapy Vest Somewhat Helpful
- The best CPT is hands.Ive had the vest since I was 7.the short time i lived in Minnesota I was seeing one of the drs that helped create it.
- TOBI Working / Worked
- well this one is touchy hahaha.I have took it,it makes me kinda loose my voice and makes my throat hurt.I breathed it for 6 months one time and it completely killed my pseudamonas but of course it finally came back.
- Vancomycin Not Working
- OMG I had red man syndrom so bad it was horrible.
- Nexium Working / Worked
- This really helped my stomach pain and acid reflux
- Flovent Working / Worked
- It helps w the inflammation.
Close Prescription Drug Abuse
I have cystic fibrosis,diabetes,and inflammatory arthiritis.At the age of 18 my doctor prescribed me lortab 7.5's.I want to finish cleaning my life up because I have a wonderful man in my life now,I have good friends,and good parents.
