About Me
I am a mom of a son who is 22 and a daughter who is 21. And I have a grandson who is just 5 months old! I have been suffering with depression and bipolar for over 6 years. In 2003 I was hit by a pick up truck and it crushed both of my legs, so I also suffer from chronic pain.

Close Bipolar Disorder
In Dec. 2002, I attempted suicide by drug overdose. My husband left me, and I have been going down since then. I had an accident in 2003 that left me disabled. I have been married twice since the first husband.
Treatments
- Abilify Too Soon to Tell
- Have only been on it for 4 days.
- Ativan Somewhat Helpful
- Will help when I get agitated and it helps me sleep.
- Lithium Somewhat Helpful
- Been on it for over a year and a half. I don't think its helping anymore
- Remeron Too Soon to Tell
- Just got switched to this after taking Effexor.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have been having major depression issues for years. I am in one now and don't know what to do. I feel like my life is over.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- Have only been twice.
- Remeron Too Soon to Tell
- Just started after stopping Effexor.
Open Chronic Pain
I was hit by a pick up truck in 2003. It shattered both of my legs. Along with all the metal I now have in them, I also have the pain to go with it.
Treatments
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with the cramps that I get sometimes.
- Marijuana Somewhat Helpful
- Can't afford it all the time, and its illegal here in MO.
- Morphine Somewhat Helpful
- It helps me, but not for very long. It is my breakthrough pain med.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- I guess its working, its also for my bipolar.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- I take 100mg of Oxy 3 times a day. It has its hold on me, but it does help.
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- This is the one method that I know works but Im addicted. If I forget to change the patch I can be a real bitch.
